M48A2

The M48A2 introduced a new powerpack, identified by rear engine doors and a raised deck. The number of return rollers was reduced from 5 to 3. It was built at both ALCO Products Inc. (formerly American Locomotive Company) in Schenectady, New York and at Chrysler's Delaware plant with a total production of 2328 tanks.
