The Lubuskie Muzeum Wojskowe w Zielonej Górze z/s w Drzonowie (Lubuskie Military Museum of Zielona Góra and Drzonów) is located in Drzonów, about 15km west of Zielona Góra. It is the most significant military museum in the area, and has the second largest collection of heavy equipment after the Muzeum Wolska Polskiego. Exhibits include photos, medals and other awards, documents, models, uniforms, edged weapons, small arms, and military works of art. The heavy equipment includes tanks, self-propelled guns, armoured personnel carriers, rocket launchers, mortars and other artillery, and aircraft.

1) PT-76B Amphibious Light Tank Soviet

This PT-76 came to the museum in 1991 from Słupsk (source: LMM). It is displayed with its snorkel in the operational position.

This vehicle came to the museum in 1991 from the Polish Marines Division in Słupsk (source: LMM). It is a WPT-76, a light recovery vehicle based on the PT-76 chassis. From markings on the glacis it can be seen that it has had brackets removed which indicate it was converted from a 2P16 Luna launcher vehicle by the removal of the rocket support arms and other equipment.

This is a Model 1942. Its nose has brackets for a PT-3 mine-roller system. It came to the museum on 3 October 2007; it had previously been a monument in Gdansk-Westerplatte. Its chassis was manufactured by STZ in spring/summer 1942 and its turret by UZTM in summer/autumn 1942. (Source: LMM).

This SU-85 was damaged during a battle near the Oder River (south of Küstrin, Germany) in February 1945; it has been in the museum since 1994 (source: LMM). It has battle damage, apparently two penetrations, on the bottom right of the glacis plate, and it is generally in poor condition.

This T-34 came to the museum in 1996. It is a post-war combination of parts from two battle-damaged tanks. Its chassis was manufactured by Factory 112 at the end of 1944 and its turret by Factory 183 at Nizhniy Tagil in June 1945 or later. (Source: LMM).

This 2S7 was manufactured in 1985. It served with 5th Gun Artillery Brigade at Glogow, then 1st Squadron, 2nd Battery, 23rd ‘Slaska’ Artillery Brigade at Boleslawiec. It came to the museum on 22 September 2009 from 6th Military Storage Unit at Polska Nowa Wies. (Source: LMM).

This SU-152 was built in March 1943 and has the early type of roadwheels. It shows signs of battle damage to the driver’s visor. The two SU-152s in the collection arrived in April 1997. They came from the Soviet Army Monument in Cybinka. (Source: LMM).

This appears to be an ISU-T, an early version of armoured recovery vehicle converted from an ISU-122 by having its gun aperture plated over. It came to the museum in 1988 (source: LMM). The gun from an ISU-152 is displayed in front of it.
