Text in original Preserved Tanks In USA publication:
This vehicle consists of a Chinese Type 65 anti-aircraft gun mounted by the North Vietnamese on a Soviet T-34 Tank chassis, for use primarily in an anti-aircraft role. However, when it was captured by the Army of the Republic of Viet Nam (ARVN) in 1972 it was being used in a ground-support role. It was transferred from the Ordnance Museum at Aberdeen Proving Ground in about November 2012; it had previously been on show in the Display Park. In October 2013 it was being stored near the Fort Sill logistics paint shop (source: Artillery on the Move video).
