This T92 had originally been on display on Maryland Boulevard at Aberdeen Proving Ground but was moved into storage and dismantled in 1986 in preparation for restoration. It was never restored, and was moved out from ‘behind the fence’ early in 2009. (Source: N. Baumgardner/AFVNDB).
It was transferred from APG to Fort Sill in about 2010. It is in a very poor condition and incomplete – it consists of the chassis, gun tube, recuperator and various other large components but no front or side armour, and it is unlikely to be restored in the near future.
