This AVRE was on loan from RE ATDU to the Bovington Tank Museum (source: Bovington Museum Vehicle Record). Put on museum books 1993. Marked ‘GONE’ in museum record on 4 February 2002. It is presumed that this vehicle was on loan from the Royal Engineers at ATDU from 1993 until 2002 and was then returned to ATDU. It is presumed that it is the same Centurion that could be seen in the Google Maps satellite view of Bovington camp in 2009.
