This A22 Churchill has been modified by RARDE (Christchurch) into a dynamometer. It has been fitted with Leyland diesel engine and automatic transmission. Hydraulics have been added and it is also fitted with a fifth wheel for distance measuring. A large glazed cab has been added to the chassis. (Source: Museum Vehicle Record).
It was put on the museum books in 1990. Marked ‘GONE’ in museum record on 17 September 2002.
