Text in original Preserved Tanks In USA publication:
This Sherman has an unusual cupola mounted on a spacing ring. It is missing its bow machine gun mount. According to museum staff both Fort Lewis Shermans came from Germany (source: N. Baumgardner). In 2000 they had been on display side by side next to an armour unit headquarters (source: K. Laughlin).
