This Panther was transferred from Saumur (q.v.) to M. Leloup’s collection (source: R. Fleming).
It was previously stored on waste ground at Saumur in very poor condition, little more than a hulk. It remains disassembled, and a mantlet for it can be seen on the ground in front of it.

This Sherman is little more than a hulk; it is missing its turret, transmission housing, tracks, parts of its suspension, and most internal components. It is likely being cannibalised to provide spares to restore other Shermans. It appears to have the remains of a Flak 88 sitting on top of it.
