Witham (Specialist Vehicles) Ltd has been in business for more than 30 years, since 1982 as a limited company and prior to that as a family owned partnership. It is one of the largest companies in Europe, specialising only in the sale and marketing of purely ex-UK Ministry of Defence vehicles, plant and equipment. There are two modern, fully equipped workshops; one for commercial vehicles and heavy plant and the other dedicated to Land Rovers and light vehicles.
Amongst the stock of direct Ministry of Defence military vehicles are Land Rovers, motorcycles, light vans, cars, minibuses and vans, cargo trucks, special purpose trucks (with cranes, mobile workshops, tippers, etc.), fuel and water tankers and tractor units, sweepers, bulldozers, graders, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, dumpers, fork lifts, cranes, access platforms, snow clearers and trailers (including tank transporters).
