This driver training Leopard was seen at the Ontario Regiment Museum at Oshawa on Saturday 7 July 2007, the same day as the Georgina museum opened, however it was seen at the new museum by the time of its Military Day in 2009. It was also present at the Military Days in 2010 and 2012. It has patches on the armour on the glacis and nose (source: S. Taylor/AFVNDB). This vehicle was used in the movie Jumper, as background for the Chechnya scene; normally this vehicle type has a truck-style roof and windows, plus a mockup gun to mimic the full length of the actual gun tank, but these have been removed (source: Costas_TT/AFVNDB). The vehicle was probably converted to look more like a conventional tank for filming the movie. It is presumed that this filming took place early in 2007 and at Peterborough, Ontario, one of the filming locations listed for Jumper (source: IMDB) and that the tank then went to the Oshawa museum.
