The ISU-130 heavy SPG was developed by the Kotin design bureau in 1944 on the IS-2 chassis. The vehicle, known during development as the Obiekt 247, was armed with a 152mm ML-20SM gun and two 12.7mm DShK heavy machine guns. The vehicle basically resembled an ISU-122 with a longer gun barrel.
