The Obiekt 150 (IT-1) ATGM vehicle was developed under the direction of L.N.Kartsev at the Uralvagonzavod plant in Nizhniy Tagil. It was in limited series production from 1968 to 1970 and entered service with the Soviet Army in small numbers. The vehicle was based on the T-62 chassis with a new low-profile turret within which the Drakon ATGM system and the radio control missile guidance systems were located. A total of 15 missiles were carried within the vehicle. The rockets had an anti-tank range of 300-3300 metres with daylight capability only.
