This M60A3 is on display outside the Legion post on Route 329/987 through Bath, Northampton. It is mounted on a concrete pad on a corner plot beside the main building. It appears to be in good condition, although it is missing some components such as its smoke grenade launchers, and one of its headlights is broken. Also it has been spray painted in green all over, including on large parts of the tracks and roadwheel tyres.
Two label plates are mounted in front of it; the first gives specifications for the M60A3. The second states: “U.S. ARMY TANK DEDICATION, ECKLEY E. PATCH, AMERICAN LEGION POST #470, BATH, PA. NOVEMBER 17, 1996. DEDICATED TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE VARIOUS BRANCHES OF OUR ARMED FORCES WITH HONOR AND DIGNITY, ESPECIALLY THOSE VETERANS WHO HAVE GIVEN THE SUPREME SACRIFICE FOR THE FREEDOM OF OUR NATION, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. COMMITTEE DONALD L. WUNDERLER, SR., ARTHUR DIEHL, JR., ANTHONY HOLVA, JERRY SOMMERS.”
