This Mark 3 Centurion was in service from July 1952 until March 1957. It was used as a training aid by a Territorial Army unit from the late 1950s. In 1979 the exterior was restored by 38 Central Workshop REME and it was transferred to the IWM by the Ministry of Defence. It arrived at Duxford from Chilwell on 20th February 1982. It is currently displayed on the back of a tank transporter.
