Text in original Preserved Tanks In France publication:

This vehicle is missing its dozer blade but retains the fittings for one on the glacis and suspension. It is an early production M4 with late-type M34 gun mount, but with a cast transmission cover and appliqué armour on the hull front and sides. It has a welded (instead of cast) hull antenna mount and MG mount (source: Sherman Register). It was previously on display at the entrance to the Armour School.
