This Sherman was on display beside Old Ironsides Avenue in front of the Armor School, Gaffey Hall (building number 2369), for many years. It was donated to the museum in November 1964 by the 3rd Howitzer Battalion of 3rd Artillery, at Fort Knox. In August 2010 it was moved to the Richardson Motor Pool.
