The characteristics of this M4 (multi-part glacis, lifting lugs with rectangular pads, bow MG bulge) indicate that it was probably built by American Locomotive early in 1943. The foundry symbol cast into the turret indicates that the turret was made by General Steel. (Source: J. DeMarco/G104). It is fitted with an oversize fake bow machine gun. It also has a bracket on the glacis that may indicate it was fitted with a dozer blade at some time.
