Text in original Preserved Tanks In Britain publication:
There is a wrecked Comet tank on the Saltfleet dunes (source: N. Baumgardner via AFV News Discussion Board). It is badly corroded and half-buried in the sand, and is missing its turret and tracks and most of its wheels and suspension. It is also missing its engine deck, rear plate and many other components.
