This is an ex-Italian M47, and has an Italian data plate on the hull rear (source: ShermanWasRight). This indicates that the tank was maintained by O.R.Me.C. in Bologna. The tank sits on a concrete pad surrounded by a low chain fence. In front of it sits a stone plaque that reads:

THIS TANK IS DEDICATED TO ALL
AMERICAN VETERANS

ARMY   NAVY   AIR FORCE   USMC   COAST GUARD
FOR ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO FOUGHT AND THOSE WHO
DIED FOR THE FREEDOM OF OUR COUNTRY, AND THE POW – MIA’S
WHO ARE STILL NOT ACCOUNTED FOR.
