The Louisiana Museum of Military History was a museum of military equipment, with 25,000 square feet of indoor exhibits, including tanks, jeeps, helicopters, weapons and article of clothing from the First and Second World Wars, the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. It closed in about 2000, and the tanks were moved to outdoor storage at the Lafayette Asphalt Co.
