Every 3 years in August hundreds of military old-timer vehicles and thousands of enthusiasts from all across Europe meet in Birmenstorf to celebrate the ‘Convoy to Remember’ military re-enactment event. There are vehicles ranging in size from motorbikes to main battle tanks, with vehicle and other displays, and fly-pasts, as well as food, drink and entertainment in a World War 2 style encampment. The most recent event was 6-8 August 2010; the next is 9-11 August 2013.
