Construction was completed in 2006 on the Eleanor Armed Forces Reserve Center. B.B.L. Carlton LLC constructed the $12.5 million dollar facility that is home to over 450 Army National Guardsmen and 300 Navy Reservists. The Armed Forces Reserve Center is located adjacent to the Combined Support Maintenance Shop and is home to the WVARNG's 111th Engineer Brigade, Troop B of the 150th Armored Reconnaissance Squadron, and the 3664th Maintenance Company. Tank Automotive Command (TACOM) has leased space at the Controlled Humidity Preservations (CHP) Facility in Eleanor for storage of M1A2 tanks.
