The Fort Stewart Museum (previously the 24th Infantry Division and Fort Stewart Museum) portrays the history of Fort Stewart. The interior displays contain artifacts and photographs from the Civil War to the Vietnam War, and special collections including ones concerning Merrill’s Marauders and Brigadier General Stewart, after whom the post is named. The exterior displays include tracked and wheeled vehicles, towed artillery, anti-aircraft equipment and an aircraft.
