The collection originally began in the 1970s when old cars were bought up at low prices as the cost of vehicle storage or scrapping was high. From the 1980s began a process of systematically restoring them to running order. Currently the collection includes about three hundred antique vehicles. The oldest is an American Titan tractor from 1895. The oldest truck is a Mercedes from 1913, the oldest car a FIAT from 1919. Among the exhibits, as well as cars, are trucks, buses, airplanes, prams, bicycles, motorcycles and tanks. It is now the largest collection of its kind in Poland, and one of the largest in Europe.
