The Royal Armoured Corps Gunnery School barracks are located in the small village of East Lulworth. The School uses this area of the Purbeck hills, continuing all the way to Tyneham, for a gunnery range. The ranges are used for training gunnery instructors and for gunnery courses. The ranges are also used by ATDU and by some Field Army units.
