The OT-130 flamethrower tank was introduced into service in late 1938, concurrently with the introduction of the T-26 M-1933 on which it was based. The tank was used in the Khalkin Gol campaign and in Finland prior to the outbreak of war with Germany in 1941. Finland used several OT-130's, which were later converted to conventional gun armed tanks. The OT-130 fired an oil/kerosene mix to a range of 50m. 400 litres of fuel was carried on board for the weapon.
