I was born in Sicily in 1969. In 1997 I moved to Ticino, the small Italian part of Switzerland and started working as professional web developer. I am married with a nice Swiss lady and we have a daughter. I love scale modelling, jazz music, swimming, water polo and table tennis. I am an avid reader of computer books, I also worked as technical editor, contributor and reviewer for publishers like Osborne, New Riders, Glasshaus and O'Reilly. I have presented at various conferences, both in Italy and the USA and, whenever the opportunity arises, I am more than happy to lecture for local user groups as well. (Source: Massimo’s Corner)

Massimo has contributed to large parts of PreservedTanks.com, in particular covering Preserved Tanks in Italy and Preserved Tanks in Switzerland, but has also visited many collections further afield, including in the UK and France.
