The Polish Army developed the VPT-34 (WTP-34) repair and maintenance vehicles in the 1960s using obsolete SU-85, SU-100 and T-34-85 chassis. A rear spade and extensive recovery equipment were standard equipment. The VPT-34 is similar to the VT-34, but has a higher superstructure.
