Text in original Preserved Tanks In Jordan publication:

More popularly known to local divers simply as “The Tank” this American M42 Duster self-propelled anti-aircraft gun was originally in the employ of the Jordanian Army. It was scuttled as an artificial reef on 1 September 1999 by the Jordanian Royal Ecological Diving Society and has since accumulated a lot of marine life. (Source: Dive Aqaba).
It has had its engine removed but otherwise appears to be largely complete. It sits on the seabed with its turret traversed to 4 o’clock.
