VFW Post 9473, located in the Central Ohio Community of Reynoldsburg, is a non-profit organization dedicated to US military veterans and the community. Its mission is to support US military veterans, those currently serving in the US Armed Forces, and their families. It was officially established on 9 December 1953.

Other Identification: “M-47” painted on front right mud flap. “POST 9473” painted on front left mud flap. White stars painted on glacis and turret sides. Bore evacuator and turret stowage box painted black.

This is an ex-Italian M47, and has an Italian data plate on the hull rear (source: ShermanWasRight). This indicates that the tank was maintained by O.R.Me.C. in Bologna. The tank sits on a concrete pad surrounded by a low chain fence. In front of it sits a stone plaque that reads:
