Since 1992 Marcus Glenn has been supplying ex-military vehicles, spare parts and associated equipment, and is now one of the UK’s largest stockists of surplus fighting vehicle spares. This composite hull Sherman was found in Brazil. After many months of negotiation a deal was finally completed in a layby at Tilbury Docks in March 2010. It is missing its mantlet. It is planned to be restored.

This Scorpion was part of an agreement between Bovington Tank Museum and Marcus Glenn to exchange two non-running Scorpions for one running Scorpion (source: Bovington Vehicle Record). It was put on the museum books in 2008. Marked ‘GONE’ in museum record on 16 November 2010.
